Summary
The Ohio Department of Transportation ( ODOT) is looking to purchase speed control devices (rumble strips). We require the following specifications: the product must fold to a length of 66 inches or less for transport ; it must be rated for speeds of 80 MPH or less ; the device's breakaway connection system must utilize a breakaway pin connection with a steel retaining clip and nylon pins, or any design that minimizes ripping and cracking if the device is struck. Additionally, the device must withstand temperature ranges from 0 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. |
