Subject: Invitation to Bid on Purchase Order Contract D13POC.BM.38590.

Project Description: Helene - Heat Straightening Repairs to Bridge #100382 in Buncombe County
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for heat straightening repairs to
Bridge #100382 over Future I-26 on US 25/70 in Buncombe County to be let at 2:00 PM on Wednesday,
October 7, 2026.
The availability date for this project is November 16, 2026.
The completion date for this project is April 2, 2027.
Sealed bids must be received in the NC Department of Transportation Division Office at 55 Orange
Street, Asheville, NC 28801 by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Bids must be submitted on
the official bid sheet included in the proposal and display the following statement on the front of the
envelope:
