Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, May 28, 2026 for DPW
Project 26462 CYNC Bldg. Lighting Upgrades, College of Western Idaho, Nampa, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include: Replace the existing fluorescent
lighting with new LED lighting. The new lights will be configured with automation controls and daylight
harvesting sensors to reduce energy consumption. Upgrade the existing emergency lighting system with
new mesh network self-reporting system. Bid Alternate to include: HVAC occupancy sensor removal and
HVAC integration with lighting controls
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 3:30 p.m. prevailing local
time, at the College of Eastern Idaho, CYNC 2407 Caldwell Blvd, Nampa Idaho, 83651. Bidders are
encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
