AMENDMENT TO ADD ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED, INCLUDE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ATTACHMENT, AND EXTEND CLOSING SUBMISSION DEADLINE.

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov SAM.gov

The internal RFQ number is N0018925Q0023. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-07 (effective 30 Sep 2024) and DFARS Publication Notice 20241010 (effective 10 Oct 2024). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 326150 - Urethane and Other Foam Product (except Polystyrene) Manufacturing and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. The proposed contract is for the design, fabrication, and installation of custom-made cushions at NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND ATLANTIC for which the Government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to quoter that is most advantageous to the Government. See attached supporting documents for more information and desired specifications.

Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to Perla Martinez at perla.j.martinez.civ@us.navy.mil NO LATER THAN 10 AM EST FRIDAY 22 NOVEMBER 2024 no later than the time posted on SAM.gov. This announcement will close at 10 AM EST TUESDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2024. All Quote submissions received after the stated submission deadline may not be considered for award. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination has been made by the Government to compete this proposed effort as a total small business set aside, based upon responses to this notice, this determination is solely within the discretion of the Government.
