ADDENDUM 3
1. Section 23 states that Tega Cay may cancel the contract based on unresolved service
issues but under the Vendor Agreement, section J states that Tega Cay may cancel the
contract at any time with or without cause. Which section is correct?
Section 23 is a reiteration of Section J and does not supersede the Citys ability to
terminate this agreement with or without cause at any time.
2. Annual CPI adjustments are capped at 3% and not effective until the second anniversary.
We feel restrictive rate restrictions based on actual increased costs does not make for an
equal partnership and therefore request the use of the actual CPI based on the Water,
Sewer and Trash index which is based on costs related to our industry. We also request
that the first CPI adjustment is based on the anniversary of the first year.
As the offeror you have the right to include that as part of your bid submission, but the
City also has the right to accept or deny the request.
3. Are there maps available for which areas require the use of the rear load trucks?
The rear load trucks are deployed in various areas of the City. While a map of the
specific locations does not exist, those areas are primarily located in traditional Tega Cay
(deeper peninsula) where road rights-of-way are narrower.
This page summarizes the opportunity, including an overview and a preview of the attached documents.
