Cultural Resources Unit Technical Assistance

Brief Description: MnDOT’s Cultural Resources Unit (CRU) requests letters of interest from qualified responders under MnDOT’s prequalified work areas for Architectural/History (12.41) and Archaeological Work (12.11) so that potential effects from projects to historic properties can be assessed as per required federal and state laws. One 3-year contract will be awarded under this solicitation. The Successful Responder will aid in conducting emergency and time-sensitive project reviews to determine whether the proposed MnDOT District or State Aid for Local Transportation (SALT) projects will affect historic properties that are or may be eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or that may hold cultural significance for other reasons.
