The Department of Agriculture is requesting bids on dried/cured shell ( 6 months minimum land cured) . The shell will be delivered by land or water as determined by the Department. Location of deliver by Water is Bridgeport/Stratford Natural seed beds. Land delivery location is 190 Rogers Avenue Milford to be loaded onto a vessel. The bid should include to maximum volume of shell that can be provided and a price per bushel. The Department reserves the right to select multiple vendors to meet specific oyster enhancement goals. The approximate delivery window is May 20th to June 10th. The delivery by vessel will take three of four GOOD WEATHER days. In June to the 10th. The delivery of shell to 190 Rogers will begin on the 20th and then on May 27th start loading boats while more shell trucked in continuing to June 6th.
