The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a sole source contract modification to an existing contract with Sierra Nevada Company (SNC)
in Colorado Springs, CO. NAWCAD intends to procure support of repairs, materials, maintenance and sustainment essential to the VAMPIRE c-UASs sustainment effort for the Ukraine Navy. SMEs include Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Field Service Representatives (FSRs), other technical assistance and reach back support for systems deployed in Eastern Europe by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Tasking will be performed both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) in support of the Ukraine Navy.
This action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Sierra Nevada Company under the authority permitting other than full and open competition, Title 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". SNC has the necessary secure facility accesses and experience required to fulfill the requirements of this effort within the critical fleet timeline.
