4 SPECIFICATIONS
The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on behalf of the Solid Waste Department is accepting bids to purchase a 10 CU
YD side loading compactor. The attached specifications describe the minimum requirements.
The equipment shall be of a new, current design production model and available to the commercial market. The bid
shall include one (1) copy of the manufacturer's published specification and warranty. The City reserves the right to
review the manufacturer's specifications and choose the unit deemed to be in the City's best interest. The
equipment shall comply with all state and federal safety requirements. Any deviations to these specifications shall
be explained.
Delivery is expected in 120 days after the bid has been awarded.
On the attached specifications, the blank space to the right of each specification is to be completed with a YES
response if the specification is met and NO response if not met. (All NO responses must be explained – what is
offered.) Any deviations to these specifications must be explained.

5 STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements from the Bidder will be shown below on "Certificates Required" and "Additional

7 Certificate of Good Standing with the State's Secretary of State

Bidders shall provide the company's Business License information, including the City, State, and Business License
Number. The successful Bidder may be required to obtain a City of Hot Springs business license. For business
services within the City of Hot Springs, the City will honor business licenses from cities within the State of Arkansas.

1 REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
2 DEFINITIONS
SMALL BUSINESS CONCERN: As defined pursuant to Section 3 of the Small Business Act and in relevant
