CTrail Hartford Line, Shore Line East, and Maintenance of Equipment

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (“CTDOT”) issues this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to solicit responsive proposals (“Proposals”) for the operation of passenger rail service for the CTrail Hartford Line and the CTrail Shore Line East and maintenance services for the CTrail vehicle fleet. CTDOT is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced provider(s) to provide each, or any combination of, the following three services: • Train operations for CTrail Hartford Line passenger rail service (“CTrail Hartford Line Service”) between New Haven, CT and Springfield, MA; • Train operations for CTrail Shore Line East passenger rail service (“CTrail Shore Line East Service”) between New Haven, CT and New London, CT; and • Maintenance of the CTrail vehicle fleet (“Maintenance of Equipment”).
