CTF LCF LCF Skylights and Metal Roof Rpl. CMS203779 IFB1

The State of Colorado, DOC is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the Skylights and Metal Roof Replacement project at the Limon Correctional Facility. Limon Correctional Facility is a large complex that houses multiple buildings. The sheet metal roofs, sheet metal roof copings, sheet metal siding and translucent skylight panels at the Facility were impacted by a hail storm. A total of eighteen buildings received damage from the storm. The hail damaged the noted items to the point where replacement is required. This has resulted in an insurance claim that involves the replacement of those items. This project covers that work. Almost all of the work occurs in the secured correctional facility area. The Contractor performing the work will be required to comply with all security requirements imposed by the facility.
