2025 Crop and Hay Ground Leases

Sealed bids will be accepted at the City Clerk’s office, 2307 Barada Street, Falls City, Nebraska, until 3:00 P.M. on February 19, 2025, for cash lease agreements on multiple sites for farming or hay and forage use. The available sites include approximately 91.5 acres at the Falls City Municipal Airport, 9 acres on West 14th Street (5.5 acres limited to hay and forage), 26 acres at the Falls City Tree, Brush & Yard Waste site, 45.5 acres at the Falls City Water Treatment Plant in Rulo, and 8.5 acres at the Falls City Industrial Park. These leases will begin in the first week of March for a one-year term, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The City of Falls City reserves the right to accept or reject any bids.
