Project Objectives -
The Project will accomplish the following:
• It will reduce the wildfire threat that exists to the Crimson Lake Cottage Owners.
• The one major goal of the project is to mitigate areas of increased surface fuel loads. The site currently has areas that are showing good aspen regeneration and the goal with the selective mulching is to create more microsites for aspen to flourish.
• This work will also increase fire suppression resource capabilities in the event of a wildfire.
