Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This announcement is seeking interested sources and will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition will be 488991 – Packing and Crating, SBA Size Standard of $34.0 M in annual revenues. A DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is included with this Sources Sought Notice.



The intent of including this SOW is to provide interested sources a brief description of the supplies and services required by the Government. The draft SOW is only a draft and may contain changes when the solicitation for this requirement is issued.



Responses to this notice shall include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), which will allow the USCG to understand your full capabilities.



Please respond to the following questions when submitting capabilities.



1) Is your company a large or small business?



2) Is your company certified under a socio-economic program (i.e., small disadvantaged, Hubzone, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, etc.)



3) Do you currently provide these supplies and services to other Government agencies, and if so provide a list of agencies, POC's and contract numbers?



4) If not located within Baltimore-Washington commuting area, would subcontracting be required or would proposal include travel costs?



5) The Government will require crate delivery in 25 days after receipt of a delivery order. Is this restrictive or a reasonable delivery period?



6) It is anticipated delivery events will be two (2) times per month. Can your company accomplish delivery on this schedule with its own capabilities?



7) It is anticipated arrival to repackage material onsite at the USCG will be within 1-hour of pre-arranged delivery time. Is this a reasonable response time?



8) Can your company manufacture crates and provide on-site personnel to repackage equipment per the draft SOW?



This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there are companies capable of performing the requirements. All interested firms must have an active registration in SAM at www.sam.gov and must be registered at time of submission of the offer and throughout the performance of the resultant contract.



Interested firms must reply via e-mail to Kelly Wyatt, Contracting Officer, at Kelly.A.Wyatt@uscg.mil AND Carol Dreszer, Contract Specialist, at carol.l.dreszer@uscg.mil. The subject line of the email must identify “CRATES - SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE”. The due date for responses is April 15, 2024.
