Description:

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary to perform Crane Maintenance and Inspection Services -  Multiple Site Locations, 3500 East Stearns Street, Long Beach, CA 90815, 1300 Federal Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90025, 111 Grosvenor Street, Inglewood, CA 90302, and 612 E. Warner Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92707.  Work to include: The Contractor shall perform Overhead Crane Annual Testing, Certification, and Maintenance at Four (4) National Guard Armory sites.   All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to
PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 33854 - DO NOT OPEN.
Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 1/22/2025, at 11:00 AM at Multiple Site Locations, 3725 East Stearns Street, Long Beach, CA 90815. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov.
Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.
The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-61/D-21 Limited Specialty Classification/Machinery and Pumps license, or subcontract to one.
All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at
Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 1/29/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 33854.
If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 2/12/2025 at 2:00 PM.
