Project Scope

Work under this contract will include the extension of culvert #2 on County Road 33 along with stabilization of the drainage channel at the outlet of the culvert in the Town of Naples. The work will also include clearing and grubbing, stone filling, embankment placement, topsoil and turf establishment and other incidental construction to complete the project.

The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Provide, maintain, and remove temporary erosion control measures
• Clearing and grubbing highway right-of-way and work area where needed
• Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements
• Locating, preserving and protecting existing utilities at all times
• Maintain stormwater flows
• Construction of embankment
• Construction of drainage channels per line and grade as shown on contract plans
• Restoration of all property disturbed by construction
• Turf establishment
• Incidental work necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project

The Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and performing all work in

accordance with these Contract Documents, technical specifications and plans, as ordered by Engineer.
