The contract provides for: the replacement of the existing CPKC bridge over Blue Ridge Blvd., with a four span double cell box girder bridge supported on h-pile bents. The project also includes the widening of the Blue Ridge Blvd. from 3rd Street to Grandview Road. The project also includes the extension of the RCB under Blue Ridge Blvd. Finally, the project includes the widening of the CPKC tracks embankment for the located CPKC mainline track. With this project this includes, the associated clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, seeding, erosion control measures, construction staking, and existing culvert cleanout.
