The purpose of this sources sought is to satisfy the requirement at FAR 5.301. This requirment will be under the Franchise Agreement FA441721H0002 with COX Communications. IAW AFI 64-101, a Franchise Agreement shall be in place with the vendor providing cable television services.
The provider shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide cable television services to Government owned buildings up to the Demarcation Point for such services on Hurlburt Field, FL. The Demarcation Point shall be up to the wall jack for the applicable television outlet. The signal delivered by the provider shall allow the user the capability to change the channel at each television and to be able to watch different programming at each television at the same time. Provider shall not split the signal to other televisions in the buildings where the signal will be degraded. In instances where there is no existing cable infrastructure at a facility requiring television programming, the provider will furnish and install all required equipment and bill to the end-user after coordination and agreement of the additional costs. Service shall be provided on a month by month basis coinciding with standard commercial practices.
