Coweeta Lawn Care and Grounds Maintenance

UPDATE 01: To include the following statement

“System updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in agency solicitations. Examples include 52.222-25, Affirmative Action Compliance, and paragraph (d) of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Contracting officers will not consider these representations when making award decisions or enforce requirements. Entities are not required to, nor are they able to, update their entity registration to remove these representations in SAM.”

USDA Forest Services requires grounds maintenance for the Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory located at 3160 Coweeta Lab Road, Otto, NC. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide grounds maintenance.

Anticipated starting date from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Plus 4 Option Years

The quoters shall submit their quote to Nestor Rivera Gonzalez, by email at

nestor.riveragonzalez@usda.gov no later than June 22nd, 2025, at 1159 PM Eastern Standard Time. It is the quoter's responsibility to confirm receipt of the quote.

Quoters must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management in order to

FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit (APR 1984)

Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
