Courthouse Security Renovations

The Jackson County Courthouse Entrance Security Renovation includes demolition of 2 existing nonstructural columns and 2 walls, addition of a new ballistic resistant security booth, electrical and low voltage work and as indicated on the construction drawings.

Bidding Documents, Electronic: Bidders may obtain access after February 26, 2026 by
contacting LDI Reproprinting Centers, 558 Old Norcross Road, Suite 205 Lawrenceville, GA, 30046. (770) 237-9363. Bidders will be responsible for costs associated with downloading or printing the Bid Documents.

TIME OF COMPLETION
A.        By submitting a Bid, Bidder represents that Bidder will begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and will complete the Work within the Contract Time indicated in the Bidding Documents.

BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS
A.        Licenses: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades.
B.        Insurance and Bonds: A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
C.        Contractor's Qualification Statement: A completed AIA Document A305, "Contractor's Qualification Statement," with all exhibits is required to be submitted electronically to the Architect prior to Bidding. If approved to Bid, the Architect will notify the reprographic agency that the specific General Contractor is approved to receive the Contract Documents.
