The Kebler Project is located near the town of Irwin, in Gunnison County, Colorado. Please see the attached maps. The project work will include safeguarding 19 hazardous mine openings. There are 9 vertical openings and 10 adits. Closure methods include polyurethane foam plugs covered with backfill, steel grates, native rock bulkheads, cable nets, corrugated steel pipes, and backfills. Detailed work descriptions are provided below in the Work List and a copy of the Standard Work Specifications (SWS) as specified in the Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program General Bid Specifications, 2009 in addition to all applicable regulations are provided on the google drive link found in the Special Conditions.
