Description

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of replacing existing guardrails including posts, railing, and end treatments with Caltrans Standard Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) at multiple locations throughout the County. Additional work includes installing concrete anchor blocks and small retaining walls. Work will occur primarily on San Pablo Dam Road, Olympic Boulevard, and Pleasant Hill Road. Other roads that will receive guardrail upgrades are Taylor Boulevard, Danville Boulevard, Reliez Valley Road, and several roads in unincorporated Walnut Creek and unincorporated Rodeo.
