The County of Franklin is seeking proposals for lease arrangements for a period of up to five years for agricultural purposes. These properties are located on Six Mile Post Road (Route 640) at Waid Park. Arrangements to view the land at Waid Park may be made by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at 540-483-9293.

Sealed proposals marked in the upper left-hand corner “Agricultural Lease” are solicited with a due date of 4 pm, Monday, November 10, 2025 delivered to: Corey White, Assistant Director of Finance 1255 Franklin Street, Suite 111Rocky Mount, VA 24151

The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities in bidding, and will follow all applicable provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act.
