This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12363N26Q4110 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Award shall be made under the R6 Pacific Northwest Stewardship BPA. Only current BPA holders are eligible to submit quotes. Quotes received from vendors that have not been awarded a R6 Pacific Northwest Stewardship BPA will be rejected; no evaluation of the submitted documents will be performed.
The objectives of this project are to advance EO 14225, Immediate Expansion of American Timber Production, and the USDA's National Active Forest Management Strategy. To increase forest health and vigor and to remove hazardous fuels to reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfire .
This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 113310 –logging, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The product service code is F014. The government will award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the synopsis/solicitation, will be most advantageous to the government (as determined by the solicitation evaluation criteria). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency, and shall be valid for 60 days after the date of receipt for the solicitation.
