Coordinate Measuring Machines for Depot Level Maintenance on T408 Engine

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement for the acquisition of two (2) Moving Bridge Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in support of the CH-53K Program. The CMMs will be used for the measurement of General Electric T408 Jet Engine Compressor Rotors and Stators as part of the Depot Level Maintenance on the T408 Engine. Existing Naval machinery does not support the required capabilities for T408 Grind & Balance Effort.

Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/.

The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.401(b), this requirement will be a full and open competition. Responses stating interest must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
