Cooling Tower & Closed Loop Water System Treatment & Maintenance

The purpose of this solicitation is to create a contract for the treatment and maintenance of the cooling towers and closed loop systems in the District. The District’s objective is to maintain all systems and ensure optimal operating condition, minimizing downtime caused by scaling, algae growth, or related maintenance activities. The services provided under this contract shall include all necessary labor and chemicals to effectively prevent the development of all forms of algae. The contractor must also be prepared to implement alternative treatment solutions if existing biocides prove ineffective due to resistance or changing conditions.

This is an “all or nothing” proposal and will be awarded to one vendor only.

This proposal covers eighty-five (85) towers at fifty-three (53) sites and four (4) closed loops at an additional four (4) sites and one (1) thermal storage systems throughout the District. This is an “all or nothing” proposal and will be awarded to one vendor only.
