Title: Conveyor Belt Removal and Replacement
Addenda: 1
Release Date: 5/29/2025
Due Date: 6/27/2025
The Hill Canyon Treatment Plant (HCTP) operates a biosolids dewatering system located within the facility's screw press building. As part of this process, dewatered biosolids are conveyed via mechanical equipment directly into trailer beds for offsite hauling or onsite drying. The existing conveyance system, which plays a critical role in the continuous handling and management of biosolids, requires removal and replacement of major parts and components to maintain operational reliability and efficiency.
This project involves furnishing all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the existing belt and specified mechanical parts with a new, compatible, City-supplied rubberized 24 inch-wide belt and City-supplied compatible mechanical components.
The work is expected to begin at 7:00 a.m. and be completed within approximately 12 hours on a single day. Service Provider may stage equipment and materials at the site one day prior to the scheduled work. A mandatory pre-bid job walk will be held for this project and attendance is required in order to submit a bid. A pre-construction meeting will also be scheduled prior to the project's start date.
