Project Description: Comprehensive modernization of existing hydraulic passenger/service elevators in C, G, and F Concourses at Terminal 1. Comprehensive modernization entails modification and replacement of existing Division 14 mechanical assemblies and components, control systems, full and partial replacement of elevator cab slings and cabs, selective elevator machine room equipment replacement and additions, supporting base building mechanical, electrical, and technology systems, and light architectural finish repair; door operator upgrades on four (4) existing hydraulic passenger/service elevators at the airport post office parking ramp and concourses A, B, and C; minor component replacement on some existing commercial escalators; light modifications on an existing material lift enclosure, and the removal of an existing wheelchair lift currently used as a materials lift and conversion of its shaft way to two storage areas including supporting work to fire alarm, fire protection, electrical systems, light structural work, and door hardware.
