2025 Contract Professional Engineering Services

Sealed proposals for Contract Professional Engineering Services will be received in the office of the Public Works Director at the City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO 81321 until 3:00 PM MST on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

The City of Cortez is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) from professional engineering firms for services to include, but are not limited to, road improvements, water-related improvements, and storm drain utility improvements. The selected firm may also provide support services for the development of other engineering planning initiatives possibly including survey, mapping, subsurface utility engineering, utility locates, developing cost estimates, and data entry.

A minimum of three (3) hard copies and (1) soft copy PDF shall be submitted via mail or in person.  Proposals shall be submitted in writing and signed by the proposer or its duly-authorized agent. All proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside with “PROPOSAL – 2025 CONTRACT PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES ” and with the name of the proposer.

The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding this proposal. The City reserves the right to accept any proposal, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all proposals if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
