Contract No. 25 - Ardmore Ave and Frederick St Sewer Replacement

Project Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that online sealed Bids for the work of replacement of approximately 1940 feet of sanitary sewer, 730 feet of storm sewer, associated manholes and inlets, milling and paving, and associated construction will be received by the Township of Cumru until 10:00 AM prevailing time on Friday, February 13, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Bids will be received for the following Contract:

ARDMORE AVE AND FREDERICK ST SEWER REPLACEMENT
Bids will only be received online via the PennBid program and all documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at – www.PennBid.net. Documents will be available on or after Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
A mandatory attendance Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Township of Building, 1775 Welsh Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540.
A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Cumru in the amount equal to ten percent (10 %) of the total amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security.
The Township of Cumru hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
