Contract C43766 Upgrade of HVAC and Power Systems at Rail Control Center (RCC)

The Work of this Contract includes decommissioning, removing, disposing, upgrading, and/or replacing chiller system equipment including chillers, water pumps, rooftop condensers, expansion tanks, chemical feeders, controllers and associated wiring, cabling, piping, and ductwork at the Railroad Control Center located at 354 West 54th St, New York, NY 10019 (RCC); decommissioning, removing, disposing, upgrading, and/or replacing existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) equipment including modules, batteries, HVAC, automatic transfer switch (“ATS”), remote monitoring system, and associated wiring, cabling, and ducting at the RCC; constructing various structural and architectural works including construction of a new electrical room for the UPS and ATS, galvanized grating and railing, and other rooftop work for new chiller system; installing and connecting new fire alarm and fire suppression devices; and installing and connecting equipment to network, communication, security, fire alarm, and monitoring systems. Special Instructions: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Reservations are required to attend the Site Tour. Prospective Bidders shall notify the Contract Representative, Stacia Robinson at stacia.robinson@mtacd.org no later than 4:00 pm on August 19, 2025. Prospective Bidders are limited to one (1) attendee per firm. All attendees must submit the following: Complete Site Tour Release Form, a color- photocopy of attendee’s government-issued identification, employee name, company name, attendee’s title and attendee manager’s name and telephone number.
