Pursuant to Section 255.103, Florida Statutes, and its policies and procedures, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (Aviation Authority), requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Contractors (Proposers) to render Continuing Signage Construction Services (Services) under continuing contracts for signage construction projects (Continuing Contracts) at the Orlando International Airport, Orlando Executive Airport and other facilities operated by the Aviation Authority (Airport).
The scope of work to be performed under these continuing signage construction contracts includes, but is not limited to, the design layout, fabrication, programming, and installation of new and the replacement of outdated and obsolete static wayfinding signage (sign cans and/or sign panels) for interior, exterior, roadway, and other public facility work. This work may also include dynamic signage with head-end and network installation as well as low and high voltage sign power requirements, interactive signs, video walls, and other forms of the new messaging technologies.
The Continuing Contracts to be entered into between the Aviation Authority and the successful Proposers will be non-exclusive, and the Aviation Authority shall have the right to award any portion of the Services to one or more contractors.
Orlando International Airport (MCO), operated and managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (“Aviation Authority”), is expected to receive over 57 million domestic and international passengers that will be traveling through MCO during FY'25. MCO experienced a 15% growth in passenger traffic in 2023 and is currently served by 32 commercial airlines and 5 cargo carriers.
