Scope of Services
This solicitation is to obtain and establish term Contracts with firm pricing schedules from a minimum of two (2) or more State of Florida Traffic Signal Contractors to perform Traffic Signal Systems Construction or Maintenance as either an “as needed,” or “when needed” basis for either scheduled projects and/or emergency service repairs to the City maintained traffic signal systems. The Successful Bidder/Contractor shall be considered and referred to as the Contractor in this section. Contract is intended to enable the City of Altamonte Springs to construct, repair, modify, and maintain existing or new traffic signals in their entirety, or individual components of signals systems. Traffic signal system work shall include, but not limited to, such items as conduits, fiber optic cables, span wires, messenger wires, system wiring, mast arms, pre-emption, detection, streetlighting, pedestrian equipment, and site restorations.
