Description
The University of New Mexico, Division of Continuing Education (UNMCE) serves as the center for
lifelong learning by providing innovative educational, training, and personal enrichment
opportunities for students, businesses, and community partners in New Mexico. More than 30,000
students and customers are served through non-credit programs, certificate programs, and special
projects every year. In addition, approximately 75,000 community and UNM participants use the
Conference Center facility each year.
UNMCE is interested in qualified and experienced companies that can provide software application,
implementation, training, maintenance, and ongoing support for a scalable system to support our
noncredit, face-to-face and distance, open enrollment, and contract programs. This includes
registration for events and courses, traditional and distance course content management,
event/conference management and marketing support, pricing and payment options, PCI compliant
payment capabilities, instructor management, and student lifecycle management.
UNMCE seeks a system that:
A) Includes fully automated online registration, shopping cart functionality for course enrollment,
and student/participant self-service capabilities.
B) Includes communication to students/participants through email or other electronic means.
C) Offers management of certificate programs, tracking/communicating student progress, and
providing university CEU management including transcripts.
D) Includes reporting tools for financial analysis, planning, administrative tasks, and marketing,
profit/loss statements, budgeting, projections, etc.
E) Contains instructor management tools for schedule views, grading and communication.
F) Supports custom branding, mobile access/responsive web design and follows accessibility
standards.
