Project Description: The City of Victoria is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or firms to produce a research report on the potential municipal government impact of three possible Provincial emission-reducing regulatory mechanisms for existing buildings: Equipment Standards, Building Performance Standards, and Building Code for Alterations to Existing Buildings. The report is meant to provide detailed background summaries, highlight best practices for local governments, assess municipal capacity impacts, and evaluate the feasibility of early adoption in Victoria.
