Summary

The Pierce County Communication's Systems Division (PC-CSD) requires professional consulting services to facilitate and support ongoing projects and operational objectives, to maintain a properly functioning communications network. This work will include but not be limited to, the project management and engineering services/activities listed in the Scope of Work (SOW).



Background

The Pierce County Communication’s Systems Division (PC-CSD), is a part of the Pierce County Emergency Management Department, which operates under the umbrella of Pierce County
Government. The PC-CSD owns, operates, and manages a regional, multi-tiered public safety voice and data communications network, providing public safety radio communications services
and coverage in and around the Pierce County region. This includes but is not limited to law enforcement, fire agencies, public works, parks and recreation, ferries and airports, and other governmental agencies. In addition, we provide collaborative mutual aid coverage to many municipalities and agencies in and around Pierce County and the Puget Sound region. Our radio communication’s operational area spans from Snohomish County to Thurston and Kitsap Counties. Such a large, robust, communications network, requires advanced and highly
technological maintenance, solutions, implementations, monitoring, and upgrades.
