The UMAAS - Best Practices Committee is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to develop a Best Practices Manual for Municipal Administrators. The manual will provide a practical guide to support municipal administrators in carrying out their duties effectively, while ensuring good governance, accountability, and efficient service delivery.

The goal of this project is to create a resource manual that:

Defines best practices for municipal administration aligned with legislation and professional standards.

Provides clear guidance on the roles and responsibilities of administrators.

Enhances consistency, professionalism, and accountability in administrative practices.

Serves as a training and reference resource for both new and experienced administrators.
