Notice is hereby given that the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County (TJPAMC) has released project number RFP20250723TJPAMC – Consultant for ADA Paratransit Evaluation of Eligibility and Certification. TJPAMC is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide services for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit eligibility evaluation and certification program. The selected consultant will be responsible for administering a program in compliance with 49 CFR § 37.123.

Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received by TJPAMC on or before the closing deadline. TJPAMC is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. TJPAMC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only.

In compliance with Title 49 CFR Part 26, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise’s (DBE) are encouraged to submit a Proposal and will be afforded full opportunity to participate in this solicitation. The resulting contract from this solicitation has no specific contract DBE goal. However, TJPAMC has an overall DBE goal of 1%. Note that prospective proposers will not be required to submit good faith efforts.

Communications from proposers shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alexandra Arroyo, Procurement Specialist II, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other TJPAMC employees or consultants with respect to the proposal documents or project.
