Construction Services for FEMS Harbor Kitchen and House Upgrades

The District of Columbia (the “District”) Department of General Services (the “Department” or “DGS”), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (“IFB” or “Solicitation”) to solicit the services of a General Contractor firm (the “Contractor”) to provide construction services as well as permit approved drawings based on the attached Basis of Design Drawings and Basis of Design Specifications (Attachment A and Attachment B) for the new DC Fire Department Fireboat Facility (“Fireboat Facility”) located at 550 Water Street SW Washington, DC 20024 renovations and general upgrades .

Fireboat Facility is located at 550 Water Street SW, Washington, DC 20024, and is currently occupied by the District of Columbia’s Fire and EMS Department. The building is also shared by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Harbor Patrol. FEMS Fireboat Facility is a two-story, steel-framed fire station built in the 1960s with a patrol tower and docks the John Glenn Fireboat.
