ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for construction of 2025 Sewer System Infiltration Rehabilitation, Contract PW-25-003-S for the Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, will be received at the Department of Public Works until 11:00 AM prevailing time, on October 8, 2025 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The scope of work includes the following: 3,150 lf of clean, inspect, test & seal, 8,350 lf of cured-in-place pipe, 20 lf of cured-in-place short liners, 14 cured-in-place lateral liners, test & grouting of 140 laterals at the sewer mainline connection , open-cut point repairs at three locations, installation of one sewer manhole, 215 vf of manhole cementitious lining, exterior grouting & interior patching of five manholes, replacement of four manhole frames and covers, repair of one manhole wall, chemical root treatment in two manholes, furnish and install two manhole inflow dishes, installation of one internal drop connection, and other related tasks.

Completed orders may be picked up at the office of Accent Printing located at 99 Chelmsford Road, North Billerica, MA 01862 (978-362-8038), from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Copies may also be shipped to prospective bidders for an additional charge to cover handling and mailing fees. All payments for printing and shipping are nonrefundable. For addition to the project plan holder’s list to guarantee receipt of addenda, it is recommended interested bidders obtain the Contract Documents directly from Accent. Interested bidders will be prompted to register an email address with Accent to access the documents.
