Construction of SEMINOLE & FORK RIVER PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Sherwood is accepting sealed bids for construction of SEMINOLE & FORK RIVER PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the City of Sherwood, 2199 E. Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, AR 72120, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of pedestrian improvements along the north side of Seminole Trail, including construction of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk with an adjacent 3-foot greenspace buffer. Work also includes removal and replacement of existing concrete driveways as needed to accommodate sidewalk installation.
The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work to be done as required by budget restraints. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be for the best interest.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than those listed above.
Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance on similar projects. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
