|
Bristol Boys and Girls Club Association, Inc. (“BBGC”) is seeking bids for construction of active recreation space, including construction an outdoor bathroom and pavilion, at the intersection of Jacob and Francis Streets. Bid documents may be obtained by downloading from this website via the document link noted below, or via the State of Connecticut CTSource bids portal:

There will be a non-mandatory prebid meeting held at 255 West Street, Bristol CT on November 6, 2024 at 10:00am to review existing site conditions and project requirements.
Bids will be accepted until November 22, 2024 at 11:00 am by the City of Bristol Purchasing Department on behalf of the Bristol Boys and Girls Club Association, Inc., at its office located at 111 North Main, Third Floor, Bristol CT 06010. Bids received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. BBGC reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest.
Funding for this project is being provided by American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) Funds. As a result of the funding source, the selected vendor must have an active registration with the System for Award Management (“SAM”) (
https://www.sam.gov
) pursuant to 2 CFR Part 25, and must agree to federal provisions relevant to such funding.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 % of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to Bristol Boys and Girls Club Association, Inc. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut.
The successful Bidder shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
