ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Springdale will accept sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment needed for the construction of a project identified as JB Hunt Park Trail and located in Springdale, AR. The project generally consists of construction of concrete multi-use trail, sidewalks, handicap ramps and a concrete pad.
Contract documents may be obtained online in the QuestCDN online bid interface until November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A link to the bid document page can be found under QuestCDN Number 9939906 or by contacting thill@springdalear.gov . Bids submitted using Specifications and Contract Documents obtained from any other source than the one listed will be subject to rejection.
Bids will be received in the online QuestCDN bid interface until 2:00 PM on November 17th, 2025, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Community Room in Springdale City Hall, 201 Spring St. Bids received after the indicated date and time will be rejected. Bid security, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid amount must accompany the submitted bid.
The City of Springdale hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.
Bidders shall make such inspection and studies of the site of the work as to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered.
A contractor’s license is not required to submit a bid. However, a contractor’s license is required to execute a construction contract. Subcontractors must be licensed in accordance with the requirements of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of Arkansas, as amended.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount, as security for the faithful performance of the work and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work.
No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. The City of Springdale reserves the right to accept any bid or bid alternate, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the City of Springdale.
