ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF A DOUBLE 8’x5’x30’ PRECAST BOX CULVERT BRIDGE WITH WING WALLS ON OXLEY ROAD, will be received by Stone County, at the County Judge’s Office, Stone County Courthouse, 107 West Main, Mountain View, Arkansas, 72560 until 11:00 o’clock A.M., on August 4, 2026, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained at the office of Miller Newell Engineers, P.O. Box 705, 510 Third Street, Newport, AR 72112, upon the payment of $50.00 for each set. No refund.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount and form subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Stone County hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. In accordance with Act 150 of 1965, as amended, all bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors. In compliance with Federal Aid Projects, a current Arkansas state contractor’s license is not required to bid but is required in order to sign the construction contract. “Buy American” provisions apply to this project. Registration and good standing in the System for Award Management (SAM) will be required prior to contract execution.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
