Project Description: The Town of Fairfield (Town) on behalf of Fairfield Public Schools (FPS) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Construction Management Services associated with the design and construction of a new building for Dwight Elementary School with Early Childhood Center project (Project) located at 1600 Redding Road, Fairfield, Connecticut.
The Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) selection schedule is as follows but subject to change:
1. RFQ Published: March 4, 2026 (Wednesday)
2. Pre-Proposal Virtual Site Visit: March 13, 2026, 10:30 a.m. (Friday); the meeting link will be an event on the Town of Fairfield Purchasing Department’s e-Procurement Portal, which is accessible via this link
3. Last date for Inquiries: March 17, 2026, by 1:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
4. Last Response Issued: March 19, 2026 (Thursday)
5. Qualifications Due: March 26, 2026 (Thursday), no later than 2:00 p.m.
6. Short-list CMR firms: April 07, 2026 (Tuesday)
7. RFP Published: April 08, 2026 (Shortlist firms only, Wednesday)
8. Proposals Due: April 20, 2026 (Shortlist firms only, Monday)
9. Interview : April 21, 2026 (Shortlist firms only Tuesday)
10. CMR Selection: Immediately after interviews.
