Construction Management Services – Provide Building Alternations & Tenant Fit-out

The Office of General Services, Design and Construction (OGS D&C) is seeking proposals to enter into a contract to provide construction management services as outlined in the scope of services. OGS D&C intends to award one (1) contract with an initial value approximately for the duration of years. The State will utilize a “Best Value” selection process to ensure optimum quality, cost, and efficiency among responsive and responsible firms. For purposes of this Request for Proposals (RFP), the term “Owner” refers to OGS D&C.

The existing office building at 17 Corporate Woods Boulevard, Albany, NY, will be altered to serve as a Satellite Forensic Investigation Center for various Investigative Units of the New York State Police (NYSP). The work of the project will include the reconfiguration and alterations of floor plans, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems modifications to accommodate the needs of the program, upgrades to meet current NYS Building Code, landscape and site engineering services, design of a new IP based access control and security surveillance system including IP based voice communication and LAN based on NYSP standards, and partial restoration of parking surfaces including the possibility for a new single-story parking structure with about 100 new parking spaces. Services shall also include the coordination of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment including laboratory equipment.
