| Project Description | The Office of General Services, Design and Construction (OGS D&C) is seeking proposals to enter into a contract to provide construction management services as outlined in the scope of services. OGS D&C intends to award one (1) contract with an initial value approximately $7,000,000 for the duration of three (3) years. The State will utilize a “Best Value” selection process to ensure optimum quality, cost, and efficiency among responsive and responsible firms. For purposes of this Request for Proposals (RFP), the term “Owner” refers to OGS D&C. The National Guard Division Headquarters is a new construction project planned for 780 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Albany, NY. This Readiness Center building will provide administration, training, and storage capacities for the 42nd Infantry Division. The facility is a two-story structure totaling approximately 140,000 square ft. on a previously developed site with privately-owned vehicle (POV) parking, military-owned vehicle (MOV) parking, and an unheated storage building (estimated 5,000 SF). This project will unite key leaders, staff, and critical assets in support of domestic security operations and provide a base for 692 soldiers. In addition to the building itself, construction will include all utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking areas, outbuildings, and site improvement. | ||
