Summary

Dane County is seeking bids from qualified engineers to provide Construction Administration Services - CTH KP (Garfoot Creek) , located in the Town of Cross Plains. This project involves the demolition and replacement of an existing highway bridge and roadway approaches.

The overall goal of this project is to replace the CTH KP bridge over Garfoot Creek. Work is expected to be performed in coordination with adjacent landowner access, and must comply with all applicable county specifications, ordinances, or local permitting requirements.

The selected consultant shall be on the WisDOT Roster of Eligible Engineering Consultants.



Background

This project is part of ongoing county effort to replace aging roadway infrastructure and addresses safety concerns around failing infrastructure. The existing structure shows numerous signs of deterioration making this upgrade a priority for the Dane County Highway and Transportation Department operations.
