The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is issuing solicitation 15BFA025B00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Construct Cooler/Freezer Bldg 5754 at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Fort Dix), located in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

FCI Fort Dix is a federal correctional facility located at 5756 Pointville Road, Fort Dix, NJ 08640. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:

The provision of all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct a new exterior walk-in freezer and walk-in cooler side by side. The proposed site location for the walk-in freezer/cooler is located at the Food Service Warehouse Building 5754. The freezer/cooler will be located approximately 104 feet away from the existing building. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete requirements of the work.

The performance period for the project will be 182 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.)
