Connecticut Avenue Widening 32nd Street to I-44 Bridge

Notice is hereby given that the Director of Public Works of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for the following improvements in the City of Joplin, Missouri:

CONNECTICUT AVENUE WIDENING

32ND STREET TO I-44 BRIDGE

The Project consists of re-constructing Connecticut Avenue between the I-44 bridge and 32nd Street. Project will include curb and gutter, storm sewer, 10-foot wide ADA-compliant trail on the west side, and a 6-foot wide ADA-compliant sidewalk on the east side of Connecticut Ave. The street will be constructed as a five-lane road. Driveways along the project will be reconstructed, as needed.

Bids must be in the hands of the City of Joplin Director of Public Works before 2:00 PM prevailing local time on August 10, 2023 at which time all bids will be opened by the Director of Public Works at the Joplin City Hall, 602 S. Main Street, Joplin MO 64801 in the 5th Floor Study.
